How An Honest American Taxpayer

& A Great CPA, Can Still Loose A Tax Audit

Since the "Economic Collapse" of 2008, regrettably I have been involved in several hundred tax appeals on behalf of honest taxpayers.  These taxpayers lost their tax audit even though they were honest and followed the directions of the tax software they purchased.  Even worse, it is my experience that even when an honest taxpayer used a tax professional, such as a CPA, they still lost.  Please note, it is my experience that using a professional tax preparer is better than using a tax software that one can purchase at the grocery store.

First, every honest taxpayer must realize that there is nothing one can do to prevent an audit.  Any tax professional that says they can prevent an audit is very mistaken.  What every honest taxpayer also needs to know is that a tax audit is a very nice way of saying "you are being subjected to a fraud examination."  The very same tools and techniques used in an audit are the very same tools and techniques used in a criminal fraud examination.  There is no difference, they are exactly the same.

This is why we specialize only in tax appeals.  Tax appeals are handled much different than a tax preparation.  A successful tax appeal is never about defending your tax return.  The law requires that a taxpayer must prove the government is wrong.  This is why we win over 97% of all appeals we handle.

Advanced Tax Accounting (aka: ADVtaxaccounting.com)

I created Advanced Tax Accounting back in 2009.  During the financial crises I noticed a lot of taxpayers needed help.  The IRS, the State of California, and the County Tax Collector's were looking anywhere and everywhere for income.

Taxpayers were audited and losing.  A friend asked me to step in when he lost an audit, and we won.  So he told a friend, and I won his appeal.  That friend told a friend and I successfully handled their appeal.  Within a year I was handling appeals for small taxpayers and ghost writing tax appeals for attorney's, CPA's, and other tax professionals.  The wins just kept stacking up.  In 2009 I handled over 157 appeals, winning over 97% of my cases.  I lost 4 cases that year.

Since then every year I keep handling all sorts of interesting cases for taxpayers, attorney's, CPA's, and other tax professionals.

I hope that ADVtaxaccounting.com will continue to provide outstanding service for the taxpayers of Southern California.
